Speaking at the 29th Ordinary General Assembly of Turkish Exporters Assembly and Export Champions Award Ceremony, President Erdoğan said: “Thanks to the strong infrastructure of education, healthcare, transportation, communication, energy, industry and technology we have built in our country over the past 20 years, we are advancing on the path to becoming one of the world’s leading production and export hubs.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the 29th Ordinary General Assembly of Turkish Exporters Assembly and Export Champions Award Ceremony held at Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul.
“WE ARE GRADUALLY GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER TO OUR GOAL OF EXPORTING GOODS WITH HIGH ADDED VALUE”
Underscoring that Türkiye had increased its export volume to 243 billion dollars on a 12-month basis, President Erdoğan said: “More importantly, our export volume increases not only in terms of amount, but also of unit value. These figures indicate that we are gradually getting closer and closer to our goal of exporting goods with high added value. Nearly half of Türkiye’s growth in the first quarter of 2022 was shouldered by our exports. It is also a proof that we are walking with firm steps towards our goal of growing our country on the basis of investment, employment, production, exportation and current account balance. Achieving all these successes during a period which started as a healthcare crisis and evolved into a security crisis with the war in the north of the Black Sea, which has triggered a political crisis and a global economic crisis, is a source of pride for all of us.”
“WE HAVE THE MEANS TO MEET THE INCREASING REQUESTS”
Stressing that the global health crises, which had been ongoing for the past 2.5 years, and the successive security crisis had forced the production and supply hubs in the world to be restructured, President Erdoğan noted: “Türkiye is at the forefront of this issue in a geography stretching from China to Europe. Thanks to the strong infrastructure of education, healthcare, transportation, communication, energy, industry and technology we have built in our country over the past 20 years, we are advancing on the path to becoming one of the world’s leading production and export hubs. We have the means to meet the increasing requests by making the most of our current capacities.”
“WE HAVE DEALT THE HEAVIEST BLOW TO THE SEPARATIST TERRORIST ORGANIZATION”
Also touching upon Türkiye’s anti-terror operations, President Erdoğan said: “We have dealt the heaviest blow to the separatist terrorist organization, which acts as the hitman of imperialists, of its history. Through the operations we have conducted in Syria, we have foiled the attempts aimed at surrounding our country with a terror corridor. We have given the best response to those wondering what we are doing beyond our borders by saying, ‘We stand ready to go beyond our borders as well whoever they are harassing us there.’”
