The Governments of the Republic of Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed 13 agreements in the fields of the defence industry, health, climate change, industry, technology, culture, agriculture, trade, economy, land and maritime transportation, youth, disaster management, meteorology, communications, and archives.
Bilateral agreements were signed following the inter-delegation meeting co-chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Minister of Health and Prevention Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad Al Owais signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Health and Medical Sciences between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the United Arab Emirates.
Minister Çavuşoğlu and the UAE Special Envoy for Climate Change Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Climate Action between the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye and the Office of the UAE Special Envoy for Climate Change.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank and the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Industry and Advanced Technologies between the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology of the UAE.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and the UAE Minister of Culture and Youth Noura Al Kaabi signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cultural Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the United Arab Emirates.
Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş and the UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri signed the Joint Declaration on the Launch of Negotiations for the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the Republic of Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli and the UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment Mariam Almheiri signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Agricultural Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the UAE.
The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Land and Maritime Transportation between the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE was signed by Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu and Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Youth between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Culture and Youth of the UAE was signed by the Minister of Culture and Tourism Ersoy and the UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs Shamma Al Mazrui.
Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu and Chairman of the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority Ali Saeed Al Neyadi signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Disaster and Emergency Management between the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority of the UAE.
