“Türkiye has now become a global power with its production, employment and exports”

Addressing citizens in Pursaklar, President Erdoğan said: “Türkiye has now become a global power with its production, employment and exports, rising beyond being a regional power.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens in Pursaklar, Ankara.

Stating that Ankara is not only a major city of the country from the Seljuks to the Ottomans and the capital of the Republic, but also an engine of the country in many fields from agriculture to industry, education to health, transportation to sports, President Erdoğan said: “This city, which rises like a monument of civilization in the middle of the steppe, has a long way to go.  To achieve that, we need to strengthen both the intellectual and physical production aspect of Ankara.”

Underlining that the only way to wealth for a country was through production, President Erdoğan said: “If you do not have underground resources such as oil and natural gas, you have no choice but to work and produce. For years, Türkiye has been deliberately kept away from high-tech production. We have been an agricultural country, but we have produced only enough to feed ourselves with very low yields. We have only been able to extract our minerals in the most primitive way and with the lowest added value. Our industry has not gone beyond assembly based on labor. Our trade has remained stagnant even within the borders of our own country and has not opened up to the world. This is the vicious circle we have broken in Türkiye.”

Following the event in Pursaklar, President Erdoğan also addressed citizens at the Mamak-Altındağ rally.

“Just as we have compensated for the centuries-old shortcomings of our country together, I hope we will build the Century of Türkiye together with you,” President Erdoğan said.

“WE PROPOSE TO BUILD THE CENTURY OF TÜRKİYE TOGETHER”

Stating that they have spent the past 21 years compensating for the centuries-old shortcomings in democracy and development, and that they have foiled many traps, plots and overcome many obstacles for this purpose, President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye continues to rise in the league of developed countries with its infrastructure, superstructure, security and all its means and capabilities.

After the Mamak-Altındağ rally, President Erdoğan also addressed citizens in Sincan.

“Since we have completed our infrastructure investments, from now on, we will directly use the riches that our country will possess to increase the welfare of our nation. For example, with the discovery of the Black Sea gas, our country has gained a resource worth hundreds of billions of dollars. We immediately started to share the joy of using our own natural gas with our nation,” President Erdoğan said.

Stating that only one field in Gabar, which has been cleared of terrorist organizations, has quality oil that will meet one tenth of Türkiye's annual use, President Erdoğan said: “Now we understand better why terrorism has not ended in those regions for 40 years, don't we? Do we better understand the reasons for the intolerance towards Türkiye’s cross-border operations?”

President Erdoğan stated that they have been investing in the defense industry for years, and that they have endured many attacks and slanders for this cause, and that defense industry projects have begun to become Türkiye’s most ambitious export item.
