Musicians Mustafa Keser, Şükriye Tutkun and Azerbaijan state musicians Mansum İbrahimov, Gülyaz and Gülyanak Memmedova and Samir Caferov performed at the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Friendship Concert organised by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications in Ankara.
A large audience sang along as the musicians performed the popular pieces.
Filiz Kaymak, a member of the audience, said that the concert was wonderful and thanked everyone who contributed. Kaymak said they had a great time at the event and added, "We are one nation and two states as Azerbaijan and Türkiye. They were all the tunes we were familiar with and were wonderful."
Stating that it was crucial to strengthen the friendship between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, Havva İlhan said, "We had some very joyful moments. The bond of fraternity between Türkiye and Azerbaijan is unbreakable; no one in the world can sever it. This concert gave us that feeling."
Levent Özdemir remarked, "There was great enthusiasm at the concert. It was a great touch to open with the Crimean Tatar song."
Abdürrahim Masumi said, "The concert was excellent. It further strengthened the friendship between our beloved Azerbaijan and beautiful Türkiye. We were proud. Tears rose in my eyes when I once more witnessed the wonderful friendship between the two countries."
Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Ankara, Hazar İbrahim and Azerbaijanis were also among the concert attendees.
