Eighteen agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.
Presidents Erdoğan and Mirziyoyev co-chaired the third meeting of the Türkiye-Uzbekistan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council following their bilateral meeting at the Presidential Complex.
Following the meeting, 18 agreements were inked between the two countries at a signing ceremony.
The agreements signed entail the following:
- Protocol of Intent between the Justice Academy of Türkiye and the Judicial Training Centre under the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan
- Protocol on Cooperation in the Field of Enhancing the Activities of Career Centres of Higher Education Institutions between the Presidential Human Resources Office of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Protocol on Cooperation between the Presidential Human Resources Office of the Republic of Türkiye and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Protocol on Cooperation in the Field of Technical Assistance and Capacity Building for Uzbekistan's Accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) between the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye and the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan on WTO Issues
- Protocol on Cooperation in the Field of Product Safety and Quality Infrastructure between the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye and the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan
- Protocol of Intent in the Field of Media and Communications between the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and the Information and Mass Communications Agency under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Regulation on the Extension of the Preferential Trade Agreement between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Uzbekistan between the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Measures Plan for Expansion of Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Goodwill Protocol on Cooperation in the Field of Agricultural Education and Extension between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan
- Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Science, Engineering and High Technology between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Enhancing Cooperation in the Field of Regional Development
- Protocol of Intent in the Field of Tourism between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Protocol of Intent in the Field of Culture between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Protocol on Energy Transformation between the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Cooperation Protocol between the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change and the Cadastral Agency under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan
- Declaration of Intent between the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye and the State Committee for Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Cooperation in the Field of Family and Women
- Protocol of Intent between the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Cooperation in the Fields of Peaceful Use of Space, Space Sciences, Technologies and Applications
Presidents Erdoğan and Mirziyoyev also signed the Joint Declaration on Deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
