Eleven agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez of Spain.
The one-to-one and inter-delegation meetings were followed by the signing ceremony of various agreements between the two countries.
In the presence of President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Sanchez, eleven agreements were signed between the two countries during the ceremony.
The agreements signed are as follows:
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy of the Kingdom of Spain
- Memorandum of Understanding on Energy Transformation between the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of the Kingdom of Spain
- Joint Action Plan on Forestry between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of the Kingdom of Spain
- Memorandum of Understanding between Yunus Emre Institute and Cervantes Institute
- Memorandum of Understanding on Vocational and Technical Education between the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports of the Kingdom of Spain
- Memorandum of Understanding on the recognition of the STWC titles for seafarers' training, certification and watchkeeping standards
- Declaration on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Turk Eximbank and the Spanish Export Credit Agency (CESCE)
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Insurance and Private Pension Regulatory and Supervisory Authority of the Republic of Türkiye and the Directorate-General for Insurance and Pension Funds (DGSFP) of Spain.
- Memorandum of Understanding on Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of the Kingdom of Spain
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space between the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of the Kingdom of Spain
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration of the Kingdom of Spain
A Joint Declaration between the Türkiye Wealth Fund of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and the Spanish Development Finance Company (COFIDES) was also signed during the ceremony.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Celal Adan, Presidency's Director of Administrative Affairs Metin Kıratlı, Director of National Intelligence Organisation (MIT) İbrahim Kalın, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç and Deputy Head of Communications Çağatay Özdemir attended the ceremony.
