Four agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko of Senegal.
The tête-à-tête and inter-delegation meetings held at the Presidential Complex were followed by the signing ceremony of various agreements.
During the ceremony, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler and Minister of Armed Forces General Birame Diop of Senegal signed the "Agreement on Military Financial Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Senegal" and the "Amendment Protocol No. 1 to the Implementation Protocol on Cash Assistance dated January 28, 2020, between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Senegal".
"Agreement on Co-Production and Cooperation in the Fields of Film, Audiovisual and Multimedia between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Republic of Senegal" was signed by Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs Yassine Fall of Senegal.
The "Implementation Protocol for the Years 2025–2028 of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Higher Education between the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of the Republic of Senegal" was signed by President of the Council of Higher Education Erol Özvar and Minister Yassine Fall.
