Agreements were signed between Türkiye and Oman in a wide range of areas, including the establishment of a coordination council, military cooperation, defence industry, mining and energy, and visa exemption.
The signing ceremony for the agreements between the two countries took place following the inter-delegation meeting co-chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman at Al Alam Palace.
Initially, the "Joint Declaration on the Establishment of a Coordination Council between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Sultanate of Oman" was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan. The "Joint Declaration on Visa Exemption for Ordinary Passports" was also signed by Albusaidi and Fidan.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Mining and Critical Minerals between the Ministry of Energy and Minerals of the Sultanate of Oman and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye" was signed between the Minister of Energy and Minerals of Oman, Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, and the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Military Cooperation between the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Defence of the Sultanate of Oman" was signed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence of Oman, Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi, and the Minister of National Defence, Yaşar Güler.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Industrial Cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman" and the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Fields of Science, Technology and Innovation between the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of the Sultanate of Oman" were signed by the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of Oman, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, and the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Competition Protection and Monopoly Prevention between the Competition Authority of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman" was signed by the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of Oman, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, and the Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Media and Communication between the Presidency's Directorate of Communications and the Ministry of Information of the Sultanate of Oman" was signed by the Minister of Information of Oman, Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Harrasi, and the Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Defence Industry Cooperation Between the Secretariat of Defence Industries for the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Defence of the Sultanate of Oman" was signed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence of Oman, Al Zaabi, and the Secretary of Defence Industries, Haluk Görgün.
The "Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the Türkiye Wealth Fund (TVF) and the Oman Investment Authority" was signed by the President of the Oman Investment Authority, Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, and the CEO of TVF, Salim Arda Ermut.
The "Capital Participation Agreement between Amber Limited and OYAK," the "Capital Participation Agreement between Uzbek-Oman Investment Company and OYAK," the "Cooperation Agreement between Nitaj-Oman Food Investment Holding and OYAK Food and Agriculture Holding", and the "Cooperation Agreement between Innovance Information Technologies and Oman Telecommunications Company" were signed by the President of the Oman Investment Authority, Al Murshidi, and the CEO of OYAK, Murat Yalçıntaş.
The "Cooperation Agreement on Land Allocation for the Construction and Operation of Educational Institutions for the Türkiye Maarif Foundation between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman" was signed by the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of Oman, Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shueli, and the President of the Türkiye Maarif Foundation, Mahmut Özdil.
The “Partnership Agreement between ASELSAN and Sinan Advanced Industries” was signed by Majid Al Hinai, CEO of Sinan Advanced Industries, and Ahmet Akyol, President&CEO of ASELSAN.
Meanwhile, Head of Communications Duran shared a post on his social media account regarding the agreement signed in the field of communication.

Today, in the presence of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman, we signed the 'Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Media and Communication between the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Information of the Sultanate of Oman' together with the Minister of Information of the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Abdullah Al Harrasi.
I hope that this memorandum of understanding, which aims to establish a closer communication bridge between institutions by increasing the exchange of information, experience, and technology in the fields of media, information, and public diplomacy between the two friendly and brotherly countries, Türkiye and Oman, will be auspicious.
I believe that this cooperation will strengthen accurate, reliable, and multidimensional information activities between the two countries and contribute to further deepening of cultural interaction and common values."
