Nine agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria.
The tête-à-tête and inter-delegation meetings held at the Presidential Complex were followed by the signing ceremony of several agreements between the two countries.
The agreements signed between Türkiye and Nigeria are as follows:
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Diaspora Policy between the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Media and Communication between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Higher Education between the Republic of Türkiye and the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Halal Quality Infrastructure between the Halal Accreditation Agency of the Republic of Türkiye and the Nigerian National Accreditation System
- Joint Declaration Establishing the Joint Economic and Trade Commission (JETCO)
- Protocol on Military Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Education between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye and the Foreign Service Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Women Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
