Six agreements were signed in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Kassym-Jomart K. Tokayev of Kazakhstan.
Following their tête-à-tête at the Akorda Palace, President Erdoğan and President Tokayev presided over the fourth meeting of the Türkiye-Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. Following the meeting, the two countries' agreements were signed in the presence of Presidents Erdoğan and Tokayev.
Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin signed the “Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye on Establishing Cooperation in the Fields of Technical Regulations, Standardisation, Metrology, Accreditation, and Conformity Assessment.”
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Tamara Duisenova inked the “Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye on Cooperation.”
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Minister of Culture and Sport Dauren Abaev signed the “Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye on Cooperation in the Field of Culture.”
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Minister of Culture and Sport Dauren Abaev also signed the “Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye in the Field of Museology, Protection and Restoration of Monuments.”
Additionally, the “Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye in the Field of Health” was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Minister of Healthcare Azhar Giniyat of Kazakhstan.
Finally, the “Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye in the Field of Veterinary Services and Food Safety Policy” was inked by Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişçi and Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Karashukeyev of Kazakhstan.
