Türkiye and Iraq signed agreements in the fields of migration, education, counter-narcotics, disaster and emergency management, information and communication technologies, defence industries, higher education, metrology, and law.
The tête-à-tête and inter-delegation meetings between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani of Iraq were followed by the signing of several agreements between the two countries.
Ahmet Küçükikiz, Acting Director General of Combatting Irregular Migration and Removal Affairs of the Presidency of Migration Management, and Safa Hussein Ahmed, Head of the Department of Migration of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement of the Republic of Iraq, signed the “Agreement on the Standard Operating Procedures Regarding Voluntary Return and Reintegration of Iraqi Nationals" between the Directorate General of Combatting Irregular Migration and Removal Affairs of the Presidency of Migration Management of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye and the Department of Migration of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement of the Republic of Iraq.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Training Cooperation Between the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Iraq" was signed by Major General Nail İlbey and Lieutenant General Ziad Taha Ali Al-Abbasi.

The Memorandum of Understanding on Disaster and Emergency Management between the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye and the National Centre of Crisis and Disaster Management of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Iraq was signed by AFAD President Ali Hamza Pehlivan and Lieutenant General Ziad Taha Ali Al-Abbasi.
The "Additional Protocol to the 2009 Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies between the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Iraq" was signed by Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Fatih Sayan and Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Hayder Abed Dhahad.
The Memorandum of Understanding between AYDA International Entegre Savunma Sistemleri Ticaret AŞ and Al Zaman Group For General Trading, Contracting, and Shipbuilding LLC was signed by Deputy Minister of National Defence Musa Heybet and Ahmet Shaban, Chairman of the Board of Al Zaman Group.
