Agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Malaysia.
The tête-à-tête and inter-delegation meetings held at the National Palace were followed by the signing ceremony of several agreements between the two countries.
At the ceremony, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Gedion Timothewos, signed the "Türkiye-Ethiopia Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation Joint Economic Commission Protocol".
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Energy between the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Water and Energy of the Republic of Ethiopia" was also signed by Minister Bayraktar and Minister of Water and Energy of the Republic of Ethiopia, Habtamu Itefa.
