Turkish delegation visits Atlantic Council think-tank in Washington

The delegation, paying a visit to the US under the coordination of the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), discussed the economic and commercial relations between the two countries at the Atlantic Council, one of the leading think-tanks in Washington.

The delegation of senior officials, members of parliament and business people from Türkiye, held a series of meetings as part of the trade volume goal of $100 billion between Türkiye and the US.

The visit was attended by President of the Investment Office of the Turkish Presidency Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology and AK Party Konya Deputy Ziya Altunyaldız, Presidency’s Deputy Director of Communications Çağatay Özdemir, TIM Deputy Chairman Başaran Bayrak, TIM Brand Council Vice-Chairman Süleyman Orakçıoğlu and TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, as well as business people, Mehmet Ali Yörük, General Manager of Istikbal Furniture, and Murat Hocalar, General Manager of Aynes Inc.

The Turkish delegation held talks with the Atlantic Council officials on commerce, diplomacy and bilateral economic relations between Türkiye and the US.
