Turkish delegation pays visit to US Chamber of Commerce

The delegation, comprised of Türkiye’s high-level officials, members of parliament, and businesspeople, visited the US Chamber of Commerce, following their visit to the US Department of State and the Ministry of Commerce.

The Turkish delegation, which held meetings in Washington and New York under the coordination of the Directorate of Communications and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), as part of the goal of $100 billion in trade volume between Türkiye and the United States, paid visits to the US Department of State, Department of Commerce and the US Chamber of Commerce.

As part of their engagements, the Turkish delegation paid a visit to the US State Department and held talks with department officials on bilateral relations and commercial diplomacy.

Next, the delegation visited the US Department of Commerce, where they discussed commercial diplomacy and bilateral economic relations.

On the second day of the meetings, during their visit to the US Chamber of Commerce, the delegation met with US Chamber of Commerce officials to discuss commercial diplomacy and bilateral economic relations between Türkiye and the United States.

The visit was attended by President of the Investment Office of the Turkish Presidency Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology and AK Party Konya Deputy Ziya Altunyaldız, Deputy Director of Communications Çağatay Özdemir, TIM Deputy Chairman Başaran Bayrak, TIM Brand Council Vice-Chairman Süleyman Orakçıoğlu and TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, as well as business people, Mehmet Ali Yörük, General Manager of Istikbal Furniture, and Murat Hocalar, General Manager of Aynes Inc.
