“We will not let anyone usurp the rights of our brothers in Northern Cyprus”
With regard to the arrest warrant issued by the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus for the personnel aboard the frilling ship, “Fatih”, President Erdoğan said: “We told them ‘Come get them if you can’. They cannot do it. Because we are Turkey, we are Turks. We will not allow it. Our ships are in the region. Others are on their way. Four of them will conduct work in the region. We will carry out these work in a determined manner. We will not let anyone usurp the rights of our brothers and sisters in Northern Cyprus.”
Responding to French President Emmanuel Macron’s remarks that ‘Turkey should withdraw from there’, President Erdoğan said: “Who are you to tell us to withdraw. Do you have shores here? No. Do you have anything to do here? No. However, Turkey not only have shores here but also a guarantor state in Cyprus. Greece may speak here. The UK may speak here. Why? Because they are also guarantor states.”

“A few days ago, I discussed the S-400 issue with President of Russia, Mr. Vladimir Putin during our visit to Tajikistan. And we underscored that backtracking is out of the question,” President Erdoğan noted. “That deal is done. And we will receive our orders very soon.”
