Addressing the 6th Ordinary General Assembly of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities in Istanbul, President Erdoğan said: “The Union facilitates cooperation among friendly and brotherly municipalities in a vast geography extending from the Balkans to the Central Asia.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the 6th Ordinary General Assembly of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities in Istanbul.
Making a speech at the event, President Erdoğan stated that the Union, for which the groundwork was laid 22 years, has been operational for the last 19 years. “The Union, which has now become a large family with its nearly 1,200 member municipalities from 30 different countries and regions, is among the world’s leading formations in its area.”
“The Union facilitates cooperation among the friendly and brotherly municipalities in a vast geography extending from the Balkans to the Central Asia,” the President said. “I am glad that the Union, which expands its area of influence with new programmes and projects, forms strong bridges between our countries, cities and citizens.”
