Addressing citizens in Rize, President Erdoğan said: “The hero of the success story Türkiye has written in the past 21 years is all our 81 cities, together with Rize, and each and every individual of the 85 million.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens at the party’s rally in Rize.
“The hero of the success story Türkiye has written in the past 21 years is all our 81 cities, together with Rize, and each and every individual of the 85 million,” President Erdoğan stated, adding that they have worked sincerely for the entire Türkiye as well as Rize.
“We have one single purpose, which is to serve our country, nation and cities,” President Erdoğan said, and noted that TL150-billion worth of public investment has been made in Rize in the past 21 years to that end.
Underscoring that they have increased Türkiye’s national income to some 1 trillion dollars from 238 billion, President Erdoğan noted that they have lowered Türkiye’s foreign dependence in defense industry, which was 80 per cent, to 20 per cent, and added: “Today, we are one of the three countries in the world that produce unmanned aerial vehicles. With Kızılelma and ANKA-3, we are now rising to a different league in this area. After TCG Anadolu, we delivered TCG Derya, our second biggest vessel, to our navy last month. We produced it, we did not procure it from abroad.”
