The documentary “Never Forget”, produced by Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, airs on TRT Documentary Channel

The documentary "Never Forget," produced by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, will air tonight at 20:00 on TRT Documentary Channel.

According to the statement made by TRT, the documentary presents the massacres carried out by the terrorist organisation PKK for nearly 40 years and the sufferings experienced as a result of these massacres through the eyes of victims, witnesses and martyrs' relatives.

The documentary, which will be broadcast on television for the first time, was produced to prevent the PKK from creating a perception on the international arena by exploiting Kurdish identity, to pay tribute to the martyrs, and to strengthen the bond of empathy between the relatives of the martyrs and the world public opinion.

The documentary, which tells about the massacres carried out by the PKK for nearly 40 years, regardless of women, children, or the elderly, and the sufferings endured as a result of these massacres, will be aired on the same day that Diyarbakır Mothers began their Children Watch.

The documentary series depicts the indescribable sufferings experienced by the victims, witnesses, and relatives of martyrs, as well as the bloody face of the PKK terrorist organisation.

Contributes to the efforts to reveal PKK's vicious and bloody face to the entire world

The documentary produced in Turkish, Kurdish, and English is intended to enlighten not only the Turkish nation but also the Western public, which is exposed to the PKK terrorist organisation's black propaganda.

The "Never Forget" documentary project thus contributes to the efforts to reveal the PKK's vicious and bloody face to the entire world, which has left lives, stories, folk songs and childhoods incomplete for the past 40 years.

Five documentaries were produced as part of the documentary project, telling the story of Hamzalı Massacre (Diyarbakır) in 1995, the martyrdom of the 12-year-old Fırat Sımpil in Diyarbakır in 2015, Dürümlü Massacre (Diyarbakır) in 2016, and massacres in Kulp (Diyarbakır) and in Nusaybin (Mardin) in 2019.
