President Erdoğan's 67th birthday has become a trending topic on Twitter. Posts shared with the hashtag "#İyikiDoğdunMilletinAdamı (Happy Birthday to the Man of the People)" have gained support in a short time from tens of thousands.
The posts shared with photos of President Erdoğan included emotional messages.
Presidency’s Director of Communications also shared a video of the song “Beraber yürüdük biz bu yollarda (We have walked these roads together)” recited by President Erdoğan himself with the hashtag “#İyikiDoğdunMilletAdamı"
In his post, Altun also used the following remarks, “You are the accepted supplication of the sad hearts, the safe haven of the oppressed, the companion of the brave hearts. Together, inshaallah, we will uphold the reforms you have materialised. Walking alongside you in your cause will be the best legacy we will pass down to our children.”
