Speaking at a meeting with AK Party’s provincial heads, President Erdoğan said: “Türkiye, with its political, diplomatic, economic and military capacity, will always stand by the Syrian people in their historic struggle. As we have always said, Syria belongs to Syrians with all its faith groups and ethnic segments.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at a meeting with AK Party’s provincial heads at party headquarters in Ankara.
Stating that the recent developments have paved the way for a prosperous and happy future for the Syrian people, President Erdoğan said that terrorist organizations such as DAESH, PKK and YPG in other parts of the country will soon be crushed, thus Syria's territorial integrity and sovereignty will be fully consolidated across the entire country.

“At a time when the Syrian people are so close to restoring their unity, integrity and brotherhood, we do not think that any power with reason and conscience will continue to work with terrorist organizations. Türkiye, with its political, diplomatic, economic and military capacity, will always stand by the Syrian people in their historic struggle. As we have always said, Syria belongs to Syrians with all its faith groups and ethnic segments. We sincerely hope and wish that the sufferings of the past will light the way to a peaceful, strong and prosperous Syria in the future,” President Erdoğan said.
“I would like to take this occasion to remind all those who have their eyes on Syrian territory that we, as Türkiye, have made great sacrifices and made great efforts to help Syria reach the level it has attained today. For years, we have supported and protected the Syrian people, on whom everyone turned their backs, both within our territory and near our borders. We did not complained. On the contrary, we were pleased to do so. In a difficult period when our humanity and faith as Muslims were tested, our Lord granted us to pass the test of brotherhood with honor,” President Erdoğan said.
