Suzan Kardeş performs at 4th International Balkan Music Festival

Suzan Kardeş performed at the "4th International Balkan Music Festival" organised by the Thrace Foundation for Culture, Art and Education (TRAKSEV).

Suzan Kardeş met art enthusiasts at the Grand Synagogue of Edirne during the festival organised with the support of the Directorate of Communications, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Directorate General of Foundations, Edirne Municipality and Trakya University.

Kardeş sang Balkan and the Turkish Cinema (Yeşilçam) songs and unforgettable works of Turkish pop music.

Governor Hüseyin Kürşat Kırbıyık, who attended the concert with his wife Dilek Kırbıyık, occasionally accompanied the songs.

At the end of the concert, Governor Kırbıyık presented Kardeş with a plaque and stated that the International Balkan Music Festival is an organisation that enriches Edirne.

Thanking those who contributed to the organisation of the festival, especially Serkan Çağrı President of TRAKSEV, Kırbıyık said, "There are extraordinarily talented people on this stage. This city was also once a home to extraordinary people. This is a city that was home to Adrian, Mehmet the Conqueror, and Great Architect Sinan, Atatürk. We are very glad to host you in this beautiful city."

Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Kemal Soytürk and numerous music lovers listened to the concert.

The festival will continue with the Trakya Ensemble concert tomorrow.
