Supreme Military Council meeting started at 12.15 at the Presidential Complex.
Under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Council members proceeded to the Presidential Complex after their visit to Anıtkabir (Atatürk's Mausoleum).
Vice President Fuat Oktay, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül, Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak, Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk, Chief of General Staff Gen. Yaşar Güler, Land Forces Commander Gen. Ümit Dündar, Naval Forces Commander Adm. Adnan Özbal and Air Forces Commander Gen. Hasan Küçükakyüz were present at the closed-door meeting held under the chairmanship of President Erdoğan.
President Erdoğan later came together with the members of the Supreme Military Council during lunch.
The lunch held at the Presidential Complex lasted almost an hour.
