Statement regarding video shared by Israel and anti-Israel protests in the United States

The video shared by Israel on its official state account on social media with the caption "For those of you still questioning what happened last night at the al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza, we have receipts" contains manipulation.

The Hamas rocket trail is clearly visible in the dark. These trails facilitate the determination of the rockets' launch site and trajectory. The hospital is attacked immediately following a flare in the upper left corner that has nothing to do with rockets fired from Gaza. Based on the video shared by Israel's official state account, it was determined that the location indicated as the rocket launch site was on the opposite side of the hospital, and the hospital's location was altered to make it appear as though it was in the missile's path. The footage has also been altered to remove the suspicious flare in the left corner. The low-resolution version of the footage has been used to mask the manipulation, despite the high resolution of the original.

Statement on anti-Israel protests in the US

The claim that "Slogans such as 'We want Jewish genocide,' were chanted during anti-Israel protests at the University of Pennsylvania" is false.

"Israel, Israel, you cannot hide: We charge you with genocide," was chanted during the anti-Israel protests at the University of Pennsylvania, as it was at many other protests.

As opposed to what has been claimed, the students demonstrating against Israel are heard chanting, "We charge you with genocide" instead of "We want Jewish genocide."
