President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Qatar for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation-Arab League Extraordinary Summit, met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, as well as regional and global matters.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that the ever-expanding Israeli aggression was unacceptable, that Israel must be held to account before the law for its actions, and that Türkiye would continue to stand by the countries targeted by Israel's aggression.
President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye would steadfastly pursue its efforts to secure an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The President was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Director of National Intelligence Organisation İbrahim Kalın, AK Party Deputy Chairman Halit Yerebakan, Presidency's Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran, and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç.
