President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in New York for the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, met with Chairman Mohammad Al-Manfi of the Presidential Council of Libya at the Turkish House.
The meeting addressed Türkiye-Libya relations as well as regional matters.
Expressing Türkiye's goal to ensure lasting stability, security, and unity in Libya, President Erdoğan noted that they will continue to support Libya in achieving this.
President Erdoğan further emphasised that efforts to protect the rights and interests of Türkiye and Libya in the Eastern Mediterranean and to advance cooperation would continue to grow.
