President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Doha for an official visit, met with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The 11th Meeting of Türkiye-Qatar Supreme Strategic Committee, co-chaired by President Erdoğan and Emir Sheikh Al Thani of Qatar.
The meeting addressed Türkiye-Qatar relations as well as regional and global matters.
President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye aims to enhance further its excellent relations with Qatar, which currently progress at an outstanding level in areas such as military cooperation, defense industry, energy, trade, and investments.
Noting that the Türkiye–Qatar strategic partnership makes a significant contribution to regional and global stability, that the ceasefire established in Gaza has provided relief to the Palestinians, and that the two-state formula constitutes the only viable solution to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, President Erdoğan emphasized that efforts toward this goal will continue.
President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye will support Syria’s recovery process and that cooperation with Qatar will proceed in all Syria-related areas, including energy, transportation, and humanitarian assistance.
