President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan while in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, for the 10th Summit of the Heads of State of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS).
During the meeting, Türkiye-Kyrgyzstan relations, the fight against terrorism, regional and global issues, and conflicts between Israel and Palestine were discussed.
President Erdoğan stated during the meeting that the response of the international community to Israel's human rights violations against the Palestinian people in Gaza is critical and that the Organisation of Turkic States can help pave the way for a humanitarian ceasefire and peace in the region by working together.
