President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan in Astana.
The meeting addressed the Türkiye-Azerbaijan relations, regional and global issues, and the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Pointing out Türkiye's increasing efforts in providing humanitarian aid, President Erdoğan stated that the international community must give robust messages to ensure Israel abides by international law and that permanent peace in the region is achievable only after the establishment of a geographically integrated and independent State of Palestine within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
During the meeting, the Türkiye-Armenia normalization process and the current situation regarding the post-conflict process between Azerbaijan and Armenia were also discussed.
