During the meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and his US counterpart Antony Blinken, the issue of "removing civilians from Gaza and resettling them in Türkiye" did not come up in any way, and no agreement was reached on the removal of civilians from Gaza.
Diplomatic sources from Türkiye and the US stated that "the protection of civilians, the facilitation of humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza's civilian population and the prevention of the displacement of people living in Gaza" were discussed during the meeting.
