The Presidency's Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran stated on his social media account that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis of Greece will pay an official visit to Türkiye on 11 February 2026 in response to an invitation from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
In his post, Head of Communications Duran noted:
"At the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis of Greece will pay an official visit to our country on 11 February 2026 on the occasion of the Sixth Meeting of the Türkiye–Greece High-Level Cooperation Council.
Under the co-chairmanship of our President and the Prime Minister of Greece, and with the participation of the relevant ministers, the Council Meeting to be held in Ankara will comprehensively review Türkiye–Greece relations and discuss opportunities for advancing cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
During the meetings, views are expected to be exchanged on regional and global developments, in addition to bilateral relations. The signing of various documents aimed at strengthening bilateral relations is also on the agenda of the visit."
