Presidency’s Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, shared a post on his NSosyal account on the official visits of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia on 16–17 February 2026.
Head of Communications Duran stated the following in his post:
“Our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will visit the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia on 16 and 17 February 2026, respectively.
In the meetings that President Erdoğan will hold on 16 February with the President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, steps aimed at deepening the cooperation between Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates, as well as regional and global developments, will be discussed.”
President Erdoğan will subsequently travel to Addis Ababa on 17 February, at the invitation of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali of Ethiopia, where he will hold official engagements.
During these visits, the signing of various agreements and documents, for which negotiations have been completed, will also take place.”
