The Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, announced that Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko will pay an official visit to Türkiye from August 6 to 11, 2025, in a statement on his social media account.
In his statement, Head of Communications Duran said:
"Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko of Senegal will visit Ankara from August 6 to 11, 2025, in response to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's invitation.
During the meetings to be held on Thursday, August 7, a comprehensive discussion will take place regarding the bilateral relations between Türkiye and Senegal, with an emphasis on evaluating measures to enhance cooperation at the strategic partnership level.
Regional and international issues will also be discussed during the meetings.
On the occasion of the visit, it is also envisaged that various agreements will be signed to strengthen the contractual basis of relations between Türkiye and Senegal.
