“State Incentives Promotion Days” now in Eskişehir

The "State Incentives Promotion Days" for the youth, organised by our Directorate, kicked off in the Eskişehir Vilayet Meydanı (Provincial Square) with the participation of approximately 40 institutions and organisations.

Primary and secondary school, high school, and university students, as well as their families, showed a great deal of interest in the event, which was coordinated by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications with the objective of bringing young people together with public institutions, as well as Ministries, Presidential offices, institutions affiliated with the Presidency, and promoting state incentives.

Visitors received information about offered scholarships, grants, funds, loan incentives, and internships at the stands.

At Anadolu Agency's (AA) stands, personnel from the Human Resources and Change Management Directorate and the Corporate Communication and Brand Management Directorate informed young people about their activities and the recruitment process for employees and interns.

Evren Başar, the Presidency's Deputy Director of Communications, visited the stands and stated that Eskişehir is the 15th destination of the event's journey, which began in December 2021, and that they are happy to be among the young people of the city.

Başar stated that they headed to the city to inform young people in person about the incentives, including support, grants, funds, scholarships, and loans offered by public institutions and added, “In this way, we hope to raise awareness of what our youth can accomplish by utilising state resources while building their careers and futures. We will, inshallah, hold this event in İzmir and Denizli as well. This year, we will directly contact our 1 million young people.”

Başar highlighted the keen interest of the youth in the programmes.

Expressing his satisfaction with this reaction, Başar continued, “From the Ministry of Youth and Sports to the Presidency of Defence Industries, the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Development Organisation (KOSGEB), this event hosts numerous institutions providing grants, incentives, funds and so on to young people. Our youth will be introduced to and informed about these. Perhaps they will each become entrepreneurs in the future. They probably feel the same as they paid close attention to the event.”

The event will be accessible to the public until 6 p.m. tomorrow.
