Somalia's Minister of Ports and Marine Transport Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur visited the Presidency's Directorate of Communications.
Burhanettin Duran, the Presidency’s Head of Communications, posted the following message on his Nsosyal account concerning the visit:
"We had the pleasure of hosting the Minister of Ports and Marine Transport of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, at our Directorate of Communications.
We are committed to further strengthening relations between Türkiye and Somalia, two nations bound by friendship and brotherhood — not only in strategic communication but also across various fields.
The deep-rooted historical ties and enduring solidarity we share with the people of Somalia will remain the cornerstone of our cooperation and our common future.
I offer my gratitude to the esteemed Minister for his visit."
Somalia's Minister of Ports and Marine Transport, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, also shared a post on his social media platform regarding his visit to the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications.
In the post, Minister Nur said:

Among these institutions, the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye plays a key role and has long been making notable efforts to accurately communicate the nature of these relations to the public.
It was a great pleasure to visit esteemed scholar Burhanettin Duran, newly appointed as Head of Communications, who closely follows developments in Somalia and Africa, to thank him for his contributions to our bilateral relations. I would like to express my gratitude for his gracious hospitality.
