The Presidency's Directorate of Communications launched the "Solidarity of the Century Campaign" to highlight the solidarity demonstrated following the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes.

With the slogan "We are Türkiye together," the campaign highlights the importance of the solidarity displayed by the state and the nation in the face of the disaster of the century while also drawing attention to the fight and efforts being made to help those who have been affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş.

The Directorate of Communications also aired a public service announcement as part of the campaign. The public service announcement showed images of the state's, NGOs', and volunteers' solidarity, along with details on the magnitude of the earthquake, search and rescue efforts and assistance activities. It also contained the following statements:

"We stood shoulder to shoulder during our most difficult day. We made it clear that it's not just you and me; it is us. We cried together; we laughed together. We never lost hope. We lived with patriotism in our hearts. We are a warm and welcoming home. The crescent and the star are etched in our hearts. We are the centuries, millennia, and future generations. We are Türkiye."

"We will strengthen the spirit of solidarity even further"

Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun stated in his remarks about the campaign that the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, which directly affected 14 million people, caused great destruction and suffering.

Altun emphasized that the state and the nation acted with one heart from the first moment of the disaster of the century. Altun also noted the following:

"Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, all our institutions and organizations mobilized for search and rescue and relief efforts in the region. Our state and nation displayed the solidarity of the century, setting an example for the rest of the world in an effort to alleviate the indescribable suffering of our brothers in the earthquake zone, heal their wounds, and courageously and resolutely respond to the devastation caused by the disaster. We will strengthen this spirit of solidarity even further. We will work with all our might, day and night, to leave these painful days behind, to heal Türkiye’s wounds, to return our citizens to their homes as quickly as possible, and to recover and reconstruct the region."
