Seven international deals signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have been published in the Official Gazette.
“Cooperation Agreement on Food Safety” signed between Türkiye and Azerbaijan on September 28, 2021, in Ankara has been ratified and published in the Official Gazette. The agreement intends to strengthen the parties’ cooperation on food safety, assure the safety of imported and exported food products, and increase the parties’ current commercial potential in the food sector.
“Protocol of the Meeting of Turkish-Kyrgyz Joint Land Transport Commission”, signed on September 16, 2021, in Bishkek, has been ratified too. The protocol includes the exchange of statistical data between delegations, deregulation of international land transport, an annual increase in the number of transit document quotas to be exchanged and the signing of a combined transport agreement.
The decision to enforce the agreement on donations in the field of health between Türkiye and Lebanon has also been published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, Türkiye donated some medications needed by Lebanon.
“Agreement on Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic, Service and Special Passports” signed between Türkiye and Chad on October 27, 2021, in Ankara, has also been ratified and published in the Official Gazette. According to this Agreement, holders of diplomatic and service passports of Chad Republic and holders of diplomatic, service and special passports from the Turkish side will be exempt from the visa requirement.
The decision on Türkiye's accession to the "Protocol of 1988 pertaining to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974", approved by Law No 6478, has been published in the Official Gazette.
The decision regarding the approval of “Standard Administrative Arrangements for the Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan between Türkiye and United Nations Development Program Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office” signed on December 17, 2021, in New York on behalf of Türkiye has been ratified and published in the Official Gazette, as well as the “Memorandum of Understanding on Technical Cooperation” between Türkiye and Haiti.
