Prime Minister Kaja Kallas of Estonia stated that Ukraine requires long-term assistance from NATO and expressed appreciation for Türkiye's efforts in this regard.
Prime Minister Kallas stated on her Twitter account that she met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and underlined the role Türkiye plays in NATO's deterrence
Kallas said that they highlighted the need for increased NATO deterrence and support for Ukraine during their discussion with President Erdoğan, and added, "Ukraine needs our long-term help. We appreciate Türkiye's efforts in this regard."
Prime Minister Kallas also emphasised that she thanked Türkiye for contributing to the security of the region with the presence of its forces in Poland (within the framework of the NATO mission).
