Presidential High Advisory Board convenes under President Erdoğan’s chairmanship

Presidential High Advisory Board convened under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex.

Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun made a written statement following the meeting, which was closed to the press, at the Presidential Complex.

During the meeting, Board Members touched upon the headings “education-training” and “family institution,” and discussed the US’ decision to impose sanctions on Turkey.

Underlining at the meeting the importance of building the education system on love, respect, morality, compassion, and kindness, our President stressed the sensitivity regarding the development of the minds and hearts of children and young people.

Our President also stressed that our strong family structure greatly contributed to our ability to survive the troubles we faced so far as a country and a nation, adding that they were determined to take all necessary measures to prevent attacks against the family institution.

During the meeting of the High Advisory Board, it was stated that the young and trained human power was Turkey’s greatest fortune, and it was underlined that drawing up a new roadmap on education-training as both public and society through profound calculation and consideration was greatly important to safeguard and improve this immense wealth.

During the meeting, there was an exchange of views concerning the steps aimed at improving and enhancing the quality of the field of education and training.

During the meeting, the increasing attacks aimed at shaking the family institution were discussed, and it was underscored that the corrupt types of individual and societal relations, which are especially forced by media, and the examples shown to young people as role models were primarily targeting the family concept and that glorifying and encouraging the ideas and lifestyles that are diametrically opposed to our cultural codes were a part of the game.

Potential steps to be taken by the government and the nation to protect and strengthen the individual, family, and society were discussed in the meeting.

During the meeting of the High Advisory Board, the unilateral decision made by the US to impose sanctions on Turkey, a NATO ally, due to its purchase of the S-400 was also condemned, and potential steps that could be taken against this wrong decision on a matter of Turkey’s national security and sovereignty rights were discussed.
