President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a post on his social media account about Türkiye's diplomatic achievements in the field and at the table in recent years.
"Those who seek the West's approval to call those who brutally martyred our police, soldiers, and civilians terrorists would not understand. There is now a new Türkiye that brings the world down on terrorist organisations through its political, diplomatic, and military efforts." President Erdoğan said in a post he shared with the caption, "Here is the story of strong Türkiye in the field and at the table". President Erdoğan also drew attention to the fact that Türkiye had been governed with a single-axis foreign policy for years despite its geopolitical location at the heart of three continents.
President Erdoğan said, "We put an end to the wimpy mentality that blatantly handed over their brothers and sisters to the murderers in the Boraltan Bridge massacre. Through the efforts of our diplomats, we have introduced a self-assured, entrepreneurial, and humane foreign policy practice. We have become one of the five countries with the largest diplomatic network by increasing the number of our foreign mission offices from 163 to 260."
"We support our brothers and sisters with all available means"
President Erdoğan emphasised that cognates and the seven million Turkish citizens living abroad have been warmly welcomed through the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), the Yunus Emre Institute, and the Maarif Foundation, and noted:
"We staunchly defend the rights of Turkish Cypriots, the Turkic world, and "Evlad-ı Fatihan" (Children of the Conquerors) in the Balkans. As was the case in Libya, Syria, and Karabakh, which was liberated after thirty years of occupation, we support our brothers and sisters with all available means when required. We contribute to the resolution of regional crises through prisoner exchange and grain corridor agreements.
As a state with a long history of glorious victories, we are advancing towards the position we deserve in the international system. We will not allow the covers of magazines, which are the operational apparatus of global powers, to influence our domestic politics or dictate the national will. Inshallah, these diplomatic accomplishments will reach their pinnacle during the Century of Türkiye."
