On the 159th anniversary of the Circassian Exile, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan commemorated those who lost their lives.
In a post shared on his social media account, President Erdoğan said, "The immense suffering endured by our Circassian brothers and sisters 159 years ago is still fresh in our hearts. On the anniversary of their exile from their homeland Caucasus via inhumane means, I commemorate with mercy all of our deceased brothers and sisters.
