President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a post on his social media account on the occasion of Mother's Day.
President Erdoğan congratulated all mothers on Mother's Day and noted that he commemorated with mercy and gratitude all mothers who have passed away.
In his post, President Erdoğan stated:
"Our mothers are the most valued treasures of our lives because they embody great values such as love, compassion, and selflessness. We must safeguard this one-of-a-kind treasure, particularly the invaluable mothers of martyrs, who are entrusted to us by our august martyrs, and display the high regard in which we hold our mothers whenever possible. There are very few human emotions that can compare to a mother's compassion for her child. Today is an important day to not only honour our mothers, but also to recall the influence they have had on our lives. As people who believe that heaven lies under mothers' feet, we must remember that our mothers' prayers of blessings are one of our most essential sources of strength as we carry out our responsibilities and tasks."
