President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated in his message, "On Mother's Day, I congratulate our mothers, who are the embodiment of such admirable virtues as love, effort, sacrifice, and compassion."
President Erdoğan remarked that "Our mothers are a compassionate haven for us, the members of a civilisation that demonstrates the value it places on mothers by proclaiming that 'paradise lies at their feet'" and added:
"We must never forget that mothers' blessings are one of our most powerful sources of strength in the daily struggle, and we must treat them with the respect and love they deserve. We also wish that our mothers, whom we hold dear, would not withhold their blessings from their children, our country, and our nation. On Mother's Day, I congratulate our mothers who have always deserved the utmost respect and devoted their lives to their families, and I commemorate all of our mothers who have passed away with mercy and gratitude."
