In his get-well letter to Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi of Iraq, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan condemned the terrorist attack on his residence and said, "The Republic of Türkiye is adamant about its continued unwavering support for you in your fight against terrorism."
President Erdoğan sent a letter to Prime Minister al-Kadhimi of Iraq.
Beginning his letter with the address "Esteemed Prime Minister, My August Brother," President Erdoğan noted the following:
"I have learned with great sadness about the terrorist attack on your residence in Baghdad. I unequivocally condemn this heinous attack. The Republic of Türkiye is adamant about its continued unwavering support for you in your fight against terrorism. I reiterate that we will always side with our neighbour Iraq in this righteous struggle. While I extend my heartfelt get-well wishes, I would like to express my best wishes for your excellency's health and happiness, as well as for the well-being and welfare of the friendly and brotherly Iraqi people."
