President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan.
Congratulating Mr. Zardari on his election as the President, President Erdoğan voiced his expectation about the improvement of the two countries’ relations in every area, and expressed his wish that the new period would lead to auspicious outcomes for Pakistan.
Also condemning the terror acts conducted during the electoral process in Pakistan, President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye would continue to stand with Pakistan in the fight against terror.
