In his social media post assessing the year 2024, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan underscored that they worked tirelessly and without interruption to serve the nation, and that they delivered significant works, services, projects, and investments to the country in all sectors.
President Erdoğan summarised and reminded the actions taken in 2024, stating that 105 helicopters, 27 aircraft, and 14 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were employed to effectively combat forest fires.
President Erdoğan stated that the Treasury-backed guarantee system provided credit worth 32.8 billion TRY to approximately 5 thousand enterprises, and said:
"We revealed our New GAP Action Plan to the public, which will facilitate the creation of over 570 thousand new jobs and allocate 496 billion TRY in resources. We increased our support budget for exporters of goods to 17.6 billion TRY. We solved the problems of our families, observed the needs on the spot, and reached over 1.2 million households through the Family Social Support Programme. We exceeded 47 thousand units in the production of our national automobile Togg. I hope that we will see our Togg, the leading brand of our country's electric vehicle market, on the roads in different parts of the globe. We completed the Ayder Plateau Protection and Renovation Project, which we had commissioned to preserve Ayder's unique natural beauty. We provided free technology training to 35 thousand students in 130 DENEYAP technology workshops across 81 provinces. We provided a 6 billion TRY grant to support rural development. We expanded our rural development grant programme, IPARD, which was previously available in 42 provinces, to 81."
Stating that they have completed the production of the domestic and national communication satellite Türksat 6A, Erdoğan emphasised Türkiye's position as one of 11 countries capable of producing communication satellites.
President Erdoğan indicated that the Public Central Fuel Vehicle Automation System resulted in a savings of approximately 1 billion TRY and provided the following information:
"We provided 2.4 billion TRY of support to 643 projects through development agencies and 1.8 billion TRY of financing to 384 projects through regional development administrations. We conducted 142 military exercises with the involvement of 97 countries, demonstrating the strength of our Turkish Armed Forces to the whole world. We provided 888 thousand producers with treasury interest-backed loans totalling approximately 360 billion TRY. In this way, we provided 76 billion TRY in interest support for agricultural producers. We completed the assembly of the 1st reactor turbine plant of our Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant. We are determined to make Türkiye one of the world's nuclear power countries. With our Türkiye Family Support Programme, we transferred 46.5 billion TRY to our citizens. We inaugurated the Çukurova International Airport, which will boost our region's exports and contribute to the development of Adana, Mersin, and the entire Mediterranean Region. We conducted 4,902 operations against FETO and 1399 operations against the terrorist organisation DAESH."
Stating that more than 55 billion TRY were saved with the Health Market application, President Erdoğan said, "We steadfastly kept on our struggle for truth against black propaganda, information pollution and disinformation in Türkiye and abroad issues involving our nation."
President Erdoğan said that they listened to all segments of society and took into consideration more than 55 thousand opinions and suggestions during the preparation process of the Judicial Reform Strategy Document, and provided the following information:
"We have achieved a first in the history of world aviation. Our Bayraktar TB3 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) became the first to take off and land on TCG Anadolu. This pride belongs to all of us, all of Türkiye. With the commissioning of the natural gas discovered in the Black Sea, we provided 65 per cent subsidies to households and 27 per cent to SMEs in natural gas. We inspected 11,500 workplaces as part of our preventive risk-oriented inspections and ensured that nearly 1.5 million employees received 900 million TRY. We seized 76 million 506 thousand TRY in our operations against the financing of terrorism. To increase access to healthy and safe food, we conducted 1.3 million inspections and imposed administrative fines totalling 1.4 billion TRY. The lists of counterfeit and fraudulent food are now instantly shared with our citizens. We provided home health services to patients who could not go to the hospital. In this context, we made over 4 million visits."
"We increased employment by 843 thousand to 33 million"
Pointing out that they published the Public Diplomacy Strategy Papers covering the years 2024-2029, President Erdoğan said:
"We were able to deliver 67 million notifications electronically and achieve substantial savings as a result of our e-Tebligat (electronic notification) application. We increased employment by 843 thousand to 33 million. Our Müzekart GNS Digital Card Project allowed 14,199 young people to visit over 300 museums and archaeological sites across our country for free. In order to prevent abuses in the motor vehicle market, we implemented numerous measures and levied fines exceeding 77 million TRY. We successfully finished the construction of 201,688 residences and workplaces in 11 provinces that were impacted by the earthquakes on February 6. We are delivering the houses to the beneficiary families gradually."
Stating that 552 kilometres of trenches were dug along the Iranian border to prevent illegal entries into the country, President Erdoğan shared the following information:
"We have employed 1,320 veterans and relatives of martyrs and veterans in the public sector. In the fight against exorbitant price increases, we inspected over 613 thousand products and fined 785 companies more than 216 million TRY. We implemented the Strategy Paper and Action Plan on Women's Empowerment 2024-2028. Through our UNIDES Program, we provided project support worth a total of 30 million TRY to university students. In 2024, the Nation's Library of the Presidency continued to attract significant interest from young people. Our library broke a new record with 1 million 900 thousand visitors throughout the year. We have supported nearly 5 thousand students from 127 countries through Türkiye Scholarships. We have opened the doors to a new era in space research. As part of our National Space Programme, we sent the first Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravcı to the International Space Station."
"We successfully completed the first flight and ammunition firing tests of our ANKA-3 UCAV."
President Erdoğan stated that cyber patrols detected and intervened in over 110 thousand crimes and that the 3rd Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which hosted guests from 148 countries under the theme "Advancing Diplomacy in Times of Turmoil," was successfully held.
Stating that 765 archaeological excavations were conducted in Anatolia, which bears the traces of many distinct civilisations, and 13 thousand artefacts were recovered and brought to museums, President Erdoğan said, "As part of various support payments, we allocated 146 billion TRY to the provinces affected by the February 6 earthquakes. We successfully completed the first flight and ammunition firing tests of our ANKA-3 UCAV. In Cudi, Gabar, where we cleared from the separatist terrorist organisation and discovered the largest oil reserve in our history, we reached a daily production of 70 thousand barrels."
Oruç Reis seismic research vessel dispatched to Somalia
President Erdoğan stated that they dispatched the Oruç Reis seismic research vessel to Somalia and said:
"I sincerely believe that we will receive good news from the works to be carried out. We have increased the number of youth centers serving our young people in many fields to 522 and the number of youth camps to 44. We broadcast 11 new commercial films that contributed to the promotion of our heavenly homeland in more than 200 countries, achieving 14.1 billion views. We successfully held the 4th International Strategic Communication Forum, Stratcom Forum'24, with 175 panellists and guests from 30 countries and more than 2 thousand participants. We provided services to 820 thousand young people in our sports schools of the Ministry of Youth and Sports."
Stating that they have completed the restoration of 154 cultural heritage sites in Türkiye and 4 abroad, President Erdoğan continued:
"In our earthquake region, we continued our urban transformation efforts unabated, building better, more beautiful, and more resilient structures to replace those that were destroyed. We broke a daily production record with 6.8 billion cubic metres at our Sakarya Gas Field in the Black Sea, reaching 7.8 billion cubic metres in total natural gas production. We established 5 organised industrial zones and 5 industrial areas, adding 62.5 million square metres to the size of our planned industrial areas. We introduced the second prototype of our Bayraktar Kızılelma unmanned combat aerial vehicle, a decisive move in the world's history of warfare, to our sky homeland, and successfully completed the flight tests. We provided record-breaking support of 381.4 million TRY to our cinema sector. We provided 1.3 billion TRY of support to agricultural producers using domestic and national seeds. We developed Türkiye's first domestic and national low-frequency active sonar system, DÜFAS."
President Erdoğan stated that the efforts and endeavours of national athletes made the nation proud and that they won a total of 7 thousand 500 medals in international competitions.
Noting that the requests for 5 thousand 979 press cards and 3 thousand 194 press vehicle cards from media members were fulfilled, and that more than 350 thousand people were trained on combating violence against women, President Erdoğan said:
'We implemented the Lake Eğirdir Action Plan to prevent pollution in Lake Eğirdir. We provided an 80.8 billion TYR guarantee for 92.6 billion TRY in loans to our exporters. We have made the decision to launch our Steel Dome air defence system project. Hopefully, with this system, we will ensure the integrated operation of all our sensors and weapons within the same network infrastructure. We held a total of 650 events in the Nasreddin Hodja Children and Youth Library, Education Centre, and workshops. We further strengthened our healthcare force by appointing a total of 74 thousand 185 personnel, 35 thousand 839 of whom were medical doctors. We prioritised our retirees on the 170 Hotline and implemented a counsellor service for every retiree. We built 17 tunnels and 140 bridges and restored 34 historical bridges.
"We paved the way for more than 250 thousand additional employment"
President Erdoğan drew attention to the fact that they organised training and seminars for civil servants, members of the media, and students on media literacy, communication in times of crisis, digital security, and combating disinformation, and stated that they increased the zero waste recycling rate to 34.92 percent, implemented the Zero Waste Blue Movement and Marine Litter Provincial Action Plans, and increased the amount of collected marine litter to approximately 245 tonnes.
Emphasising that they ensured the control of more than 2.5 million foreigners with Mobile Migration Point vehicles operating in all provinces, Erdoğan said, "We continued to increase the number of Blue Flag beaches, bringing the total to 567, which contribute significantly to tourism. We issued 11,439 investment incentive certificates, paving the way for over 250 thousand additional jobs. We expanded the early warning systems against floods. We increased the number of these systems from 322 to 533. We provided 7,370 pairs of basketball hoops to our schools."
President Erdoğan noted that they conducted 1716 air operations with fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and engaged against 3,095 targets.
Stating that they distributed 182 million textbooks free of charge to public and private schools, President Erdoğan remarked that the upper limit of entrepreneurship support was raised from 375 thousand TL to 2 million TL.
President Erdoğan indicated that the "Vision Document and Action Plan for the Protection and Strengthening of the Family" was implemented to strengthen the family institution in the face of global challenges.
In his post, President Erdoğan said, "We have boosted our strength in our Blue Homeland with our state-of-the-art technology ships that we delivered to our heroic navy," and also included the information regarding the delivery of TCG Derya, TCG Istanbul, TCG First Lieutenant Arif Ekmekçi, and Marlin Sida to the navy.
Emphasising that they turned TİGEM farms into breeding centres with the Livestock Production Development Project, President Erdoğan said:
"We strengthened Türkiye's position as a hotspot for health tourism. We generated 2.3 billion dollars in revenue from the services we provided to 1 million 150 thousand health tourists. We organised the World Neolithic Congress, the first of its kind in its field, in Şanlıurfa, the zero point of history, where more than a thousand academics from 63 countries presented 687 papers. We increased our support budget for service exporters to 7.1 billion TL. We provided university students with project support totalling 30 million TL through our ÜNIDES Programme. We supported 374 private theatres with 65 million TL. We provided home education services to 10,746 students."
More than 763 thousand women were provided with employment opportunities
President Erdoğan noted that they provided a total of 294 billion TL of support to over 2 million workplaces, activated the tram line that provides transportation to Kocaeli City Hospital, provided 114 billion TL of interest-discounted loans to tradespeople and craftspeople, and allocated 70 million TL of resources to young people in the earthquake zone as part of the "Support Programme for Disaster Affected Youth."
Stating that they provided 384 million TL of education and training support to 22 thousand 982 students in Adıyaman, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya, Gaziantep İslahiye and Nurdağı, President Erdoğan emphasised that they designated six natural protected areas as Sensitive Area to be Strictly Protected and increased the number of sensitive areas to be strictly protected to 595.
President Erdoğan said, "With the operations of our Turkish Armed Forces, we prevented the passage of 95,503 irregular migrants," and stated in the image he shared that they caught 13,867 irregular immigrants.
President Erdoğan remarked that the Work Positive Programme was implemented as a novel approach to enhance the employment of women, resulting in employment opportunities for over 763 thousand women, and said:
"We prepared the Izmir Bay Action Plan, which will serve as a road map for preventing fish deaths and pollution in Izmir Bay. We strengthened our justice system with 13,357 new employees. We provided approximately 104 billion TL in treasury interest-backed loans to 213 thousand tradespeople and craftspeople. The total amount of interest support we provided reached 38 billion TL. We attach great importance to the judiciary having a new and modern infrastructure. In this context, we inaugurated three new courthouses and laid the groundwork for 14 others. We increased the length of our environmentally friendly bicycle paths to 2 thousand kilometres. We successfully launched Türkiye's first indigenous turbofan aircraft engine, the TF6000. We quickly cut off all trade with Israel. As Türkiye, we are the country sending the most aid to Gaza, where a great humanitarian tragedy is taking place."
President Erdoğan underlined that with the mobilisation they started, they ensured the formation of anti-disinformation clubs in 44 Turkish universities, as well as the Darülaceze Social Life City, which is unique in every sense and has no precedent in the world. President Erdoğan noted that they have put in use 2,659 additional courts in the judiciary and administrative jurisdiction, provided 3.3 billion liras to 91 thousand scientists and students under TÜBİTAK, and 9 billion liras to 10,009 projects in the commercial sector and academia.
Declaring that they conducted 47,350 operations in the fight against drugs and captured and destroyed 86 tonnes of drugs, President Erdoğan pointed out that 16,174 disabled young athletes benefitted from the free sports schools of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and 1,945 young people raised under the auspices of the state were appointed to the public sector.
Recalling that they delivered two Gökbey helicopters to the Gendarmerie General Command, President Erdoğan said that the Project for Enabling the Use of Agricultural Land received a total budget of 480 million TL, 200 million TL of which was set aside for earthquake-affected cities.
President Erdoğan stated that they organised State Incentives Promotion Days in Mersin, Elazığ, Şanlıurfa, Malatya, Bursa, and Manisa with the participation of 340 thousand young people and shared the following information:
"We organised 10 separate exhibitions at the Nation's Library of the Presidency. Our public libraries now have 25 million books and 6.5 million members. We organised approximately 28,000 activities in these libraries. We provided 13.2 billion TL in support to 57 thousand businesses through the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organisation of Türkiye (KOSGEB). We contributed 407 million TL to 437 health science and technology projects. We exceeded 126 thousand barrels per day of oil output, the greatest level in our history. We will undoubtedly make use of our country's abundant subsurface and aboveground resources. We launched our Supporting Young People to Get Married Project, which offers benefits such as interest-free and two-year non-repayable loan support. We opened the Rixos Tersane Istanbul Hotel as part of Istanbul Haliç Marina and Complex."
"We seized over 106 thousand firearms during our operations against unlicensed weapons and arms trafficking"
President Erdoğan said, "We have requested involvement in the lawsuit filed at the International Court of Justice against Israel's genocide in Gaza. We will continue to support our Palestinian brothers and sisters."
Erdoğan stated that they launched the domestic and national communication satellite Türksat 6A into space and set it into orbit, adding that they completed 4 million 400 thousand cancer screenings in 46 mobile vehicles and 406 units for cancer screening.
Erdoğan emphasised that they constructed new schools and, on the other hand, rebuilt the education infrastructure in the earthquake zone through retrofitting and repair activities. He also mentioned that the high-speed train, which offers non-stop transportation from Istanbul to Sivas, commenced operations.
President Erdoğan emphasised that they offered a variety of assistance to agriculture, which they regard as a strategic sector, and added:
"We provided 91 billion TL in support to our farmers and producers. We implemented our Culture Road Festivals in 16 provinces, showcasing the rich historical and cultural heritage of our cities for the benefit of both our nation and our visitors. Through our operations against weapons smuggling and unlicensed weapons, we confiscated more than 106,000 weapons. For the production of bogies, the most critical component of railway vehicles, we inaugurated Türkiye's most modern and largest bogie production factory. We provided 2 million and 195 thousand radiotherapy treatments to people with cancer. We commissioned Kayseri Airport's new terminal building. Our foreign missions processed more than 2.8 million consular transactions. We provided more than 544 thousand people with home care services. We provided 50 billion TL in resources to our people in need. We achieved a new record for electricity generated by solar and wind power. We ranked 11th in the world and 5th in Europe for renewable energy installed capacity."

President Erdoğan declared that they dismantled 230 unsafe schools and erected modern, robust ones.
President Erdoğan stated that the system of assistant judges and prosecutors was implemented to better prepare them for their profession, and thus 1,195 judges and prosecutors began their careers.
President Erdoğan said, "We were the only country to have its rating raised two levels by three major credit rating agencies. Our Central Bank reserves increased by a net of 84 billion dollars, excluding swaps. Thus, we achieved 156.2 billion dollars in gross reserves and 61.8 billion dollars in net reserves."
Stating that they produced many works that shed light on the country's promotion, theses, and regional and global issues within the framework of Türkiye's Communication Model, President Erdoğan said that they published 70 books and magazines, 8,280 reports and bulletins, and organised 253 symposiums, forums, workshops, and trainings in Türkiye and abroad.
President Erdoğan said, "We established a daily production record with 6.8 million cubic meters in our Sakarya Gas Field in the Black Sea, and we hit 7.8 million cubic meters in total natural gas output."
