President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a message wishing Bulgarians a swift recovery from the recent fires.
President Erdoğan responded to a social media post by President Rumen Radev of Bulgaria, who thanked Türkiye for its support in bringing the fires under control in the Svilengrad region.
President Erdoğan quoted his Bulgarian counterpart's message on his social media account and said, "My dear colleague, battling forest fires is a humanitarian responsibility for all of us. Türkiye will continue to stand in solidarity with its friends throughout difficult times. On behalf of myself and my country, I wish a swift recovery and convey my greetings to the people of Bulgaria."
