President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that they succeeded in elevating Türkiye to a different level in this sector thanks to the hydroelectric power plants they constructed during their term.
President Erdoğan shared a post on his social media account regarding Türkiye's hydroelectric power capacity.
Indicating, “Praise be to Allah, we have succeeded in elevating Türkiye to a different level in this sector thanks to the hydroelectric power plants we have constructed during our term. From here on, we will continue our investments without slowing down and, inshallah, propel our country forward in the energy sector. Place your trust in us.”, President Erdoğan added that Türkiye ranked among the top 10 countries in terms of hydroelectric power capacity.
President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye had 735 hydroelectric power plants with an installed power of 31,436 megawatts and hydroelectricity accounted for 20.1 per cent of the overall electricity generation.
