President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Seljuk cemetery in Ahlat.
Arriving in Ahlat to attend the events organized on the occasion of 949th anniversary of the Victory of Manzikert, President Erdoğan visited Seljuk Cemetery, the largest Turkish-Islamic Cemetery inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
President Erdoğan was accompanied by First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Vice President Fuat Oktay, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT) Mustafa Şentop and Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Devlet Bahçeli
Erdoğan greeted citizens waiting for him with Turkish flags in their hands and showing affection.
