President Erdoğan: “Türkiye, as a state and nation, stands by its Palestinian brothers and sisters now, as it has done throughout history”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a post on his social media account on the occasion of November 29, the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

In his post, President Erdoğan said, "Today, November 29, is the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People...

Türkiye, as a state and nation, stands by its Palestinian brothers and sisters now, as it has done throughout history.

We continue to provide humanitarian assistance to our brothers and sisters in Gaza. We have transported 12 aircraft and one shipload of relief supplies to Al Arish so far.

Our second ship, carrying 1,500 tonnes of humanitarian aid supplies, departed today.

We continue the treatment of the injured, especially cancer patients and children, by transporting them to Türkiye.

We are currently determining the locations of the field hospitals that will be established in Gaza.

We will be stepping up our efforts to establish connections to ensure the release of the hostages and maintain a lasting ceasefire.

Hopefully, our initiatives will continue in a multifaceted way."
