President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a statement about Armenia’s attacks against Azerbaijan.
Erdoğan shared a post on his Twitter account, saying, “Adding a new one to its attacks against Azerbaijan, Armenia once again showed that it is the biggest threat to peace and tranquillity in the region. The Turkish nation stands by its Azerbaijani brothers and sisters with all its means as it has always been.”
President Erdoğan made the following remarks:
“The international community, which has failed to give the required and sufficient response to the provocative aggression of Armenia, once again demonstrates its double standards. The Minsk Group, which has maintained its negligent attitude for about 30 years, unfortunately, is very far from acting in a solution-oriented manner. We call on the Armenian people to reclaim their future against their administration that drags them to catastrophe and those who use them as puppets, and we urge the entire world to stand by Azerbaijan in its struggle against occupation and oppression.
Today, during the phone conversation between us, I once more witnessed the resolute and determined stance of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, my brother, and as I told him, Turkey will continue to strengthen its cooperation with its Azerbaijani brothers and sisters in line with the understanding ‘one nation, two states’.”
